1962 Lotus Seven

This early Lotus Seven retains approximately 80% of its original chassis, including the original welded ID tag, and has been carefully restored with a focus on structural integrity rather than cosmetic excess. Corroded tubing was removed and replaced, and additional bracing was added in known weak areas — including the sides, floor, engine bay, and roll-bar mounts — based on guidance from respected Lotus Seven specialists.

The chassis was straightened using proper suspension-plate methods, reinforced with thicker shock and roll-bar mounting pads, and updated with additional cross-bracing and transmission hoops while preserving the original frame layout. These upgrades improve stiffness and safety while remaining visually and philosophically true to the original design  .

Mechanically, the car has been consistently maintained and actively raced, holding a current VRG logbook and presenting as a fully sorted, track-ready Seven.
